Learn to create intricate murrine, twisted cane and vitrigraph stringer using the Cress GK1 kiln and a specially designed container. A presentation of the tools, techniques and designs used to create interesting cane will be followed by a demonstration as well as individualized training. Each student will have the time to gain confidence with the process while ensuring safety in the classroom. Students will then team up to design, fill and pull their own vessels into murrine and twisted cane. All of the cane pulled in class will be divided among the students for use in future projects.
